I taught my students ‘a piece of cake’ last month. I told them that at the end of this test you need to hand it to me and say ‘Teacher it was a piece of cake’. They laughed then at the end of the test they all handed me their test and said ‘Teacher, it wasn’t a piece of cake’. I was happy to see that at least they had got the negative right…..
